Take a language test
You will have to prove that you have a minimum required level of proficiency in English or French, and that your proficiency in English or French is exaggerated by Canadian standards.
This includes Canadian language proficiency levels to prove your proficiency in English or French. So you must pass at least one of the language tests recognized by the Canadian authorities. The currently recognized tests of the French language are as follows:

Moreover, it is not necessary to perform all these tests. The two most commonly used tests are TEF Canada for French and IELTS General Training for English.
You do not have to take both exams (French or English) however, to put the odds on your side, it is recommended to take both the English and French exams. Finally, when submitting your immigration application, your language test results must be valid, i.e. they must not be more than two years old.
